A Printable Travel Planner for Your Next Trip

One printable planner to hold the actual logistics of a trip — instead of five browser tabs, a notes app, and a packing list you rewrite every time.

What's inside

A trip itinerary layout, a packing list, a travel budget tracker, and a bucket-list page — undated, so it works for a weekend trip or a long one equally well.

Also included in every planner: a Monthly Calendar (undated 6-week grid) and a Monthly Goals tracker. And the whole PDF is fillable — type straight into it in Acrobat or your PDF reader, or print it blank and fill by hand.

Format

Instant PDF download, A4 and US Letter sizes, 9 style/color combinations.

Who Travel Flow is for

Anyone who'd rather plan a trip in one place than across five browser tabs, a notes app and a packing list rewritten from scratch every time. Weekend away, family holiday or a few weeks on the road — Travel Flow is undated, so it stretches to fit.

What each page does

PageUse it to
Trip itineraryDay by day: place, accommodation, connections, plans.
Packing listBy category — set it up once, reuse it next trip.
Travel budget trackerPlanned budget vs. what you actually spend.
Bucket-list pagePlaces and experiences for "someday".

From idea to unpacking

  1. Weeks before: check the bucket list, pick the destination and set a budget range.
  2. Booking: add stays and transport to the itinerary and the costs straight into the budget tracker.
  3. A week before: print the packing list, go through it and buy what's missing.
  4. Departure day: final tick-through of the packing list, check documents.
  5. On the road: jot down the day's spending each evening — no nasty surprise at the end.
  6. Back home: add whatever you missed to the packing list and tick off the bucket list.

Printing vs. filling it in digitally

Fill in the itinerary, save it as a PDF and keep it on your phone for offline access. The packing list works better on paper because you tick things off as they go in the bag. Travelling with kids? Make one packing list per person.

Common trip-planning mistakes

Frequently asked questions

Does Travel Flow work for short trips?

Yes. Because it's undated, a weekend trip just uses a page or two of the itinerary plus the packing list.

Can I reuse the packing list?

Yes. Fill it in digitally once, save it, and reprint it for every trip — adding whatever you missed last time.

How do I keep the budget under control while travelling?

Note the day's spending in the budget tracker each evening. Five minutes a day is enough to notice early if you need to adjust.

Can I fill in Travel Flow on a tablet, or do I have to print it?

Either works. The PDF is fillable, so you can type straight into it in Acrobat or another PDF reader. If you prefer pen and paper, print the pages blank in A4 or US Letter.

Why is Travel Flow undated?

So you can start any day and a skipped week doesn't leave a stack of pre-dated blank pages behind. You write the dates in yourself and reprint individual pages as often as you need them.
